Job Description

We are a dynamic and fast-paced online news publisher delivering high-quality journalism to a dedicated and growing audience. Our monetization strategies are diverse, spanning programmatic advertising, direct sales, and subscription products. We’re looking for a Revenue Operations Manager to support both advertising and consumer marketing operations on our website. This cross-functional role is responsible for trafficking and optimizing campaigns in Google Ad Manager (GAM) and Piano/Zephr, ensuring strong performance across all revenue-driving initiatives. The ideal candidate is technically savvy, highly organized, and experienced in both ad tech and subscription platforms. Key Responsibilities include managing end-to-end campaign trafficking and execution across Google Ad Manager and Piano/Zephr, supporting advertising and subscription revenue efforts by working across sales, product, and marketing teams, monitoring campaign delivery, pacing, and performance, implementing and managing header bidding integrations using js, maintaining and evolving programmatic monetization setups, collaborating with consumer marketing teams to implement, track, and optimize subscription journeys, participating in QA testing of new site features and products, managing campaign and task workflows using ticketing platforms, delivering regular reporting and actionable insights, and contributing to ongoing revenue product development and testing new monetization strategies. Qualifications include 3–5 years of experience in digital ad operations, strong proficiency in Google Ad Manager and programmatic advertising platforms, familiarity with subscription management platforms like Piano.IO and Zephr, hands-on experience with Prebid.js and header bidding strategy, comfort with ticketing platforms and project management tools, analytical mindset, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and basic understanding of web technologies. Bonus points for experience with data visualization tools, exposure to CDPs, DMPs, or identity resolution tools, and a passion for media and digital publishing.
