What you will do

MotherDuck is building a modern, serverless data warehouse powered by DuckDB. It’s fast, easy to use, and powerful. We’ve got a self-serve motion, a growing community of users, and a small but sharp GTM team that’s ready to scale. Now we’re looking for someone to help us build the systems and insights that keep everything aligned, and rowing together.

As our first RevOps hire, you'll architect and execute the operating systems that power our entire go-to-market engine—from lead to revenue and beyond. You'll help shape our revenue model, tooling, and reporting at a strategic level while getting your hands dirty to ensure clean data and clear decisions. This is a rare opportunity to build the RevOps foundation from scratch—owning the systems, processes, and insights that shape our go-to-market model as we scale..

This is a hybrid role that can be based in our San Francisco, Seattle or New York offices.

Key Responsibilities:

Own and optimize our GTM stack—including our CRM (HubSpot), data tools (Omni), and customer engagement (Apollo and Common Room)Build and maintain a clear view of the full funnel—from sign-up to expansionHelp our sales team operate efficiently, from lead scoring to handoff to closeStand up reporting and dashboards that help GTM teams operate efficientlyPartner with marketing to measure campaign performance and channel ROIPartner with Finance to align revenue forecasting, CAC/payback modeling, and pipeline health with broader business goalsImprove lead flows and touchpoints across both self-serve and sales-assisted pathsTrack key metrics like activation, conversion, usage, and expansion—and make them actionable

You’ve got 7+ years of experience in RevOps, SalesOps, or BizOps at a B2B SaaS companyYou’ve worked in a hybrid product-led + sales motionYou’re comfortable with data and fluent in the world of GTM toolingYou think in systems and love cleaning up messy workflowsYou like figuring things out, asking the right questions, and building for scale
