Field Sales Systems Engineer

Semtech Technology, Information and Internet
Remote United States Posted about 1 month ago

TL;DR

Semtech's IoT division needs a tech‑savvy sales wingman—someone who can demo our wireless gear, speak network protocols like a native language, and turn customer head‑scratchers into working solutions.

Your rhythm: pair with Account Managers out West, run proof‑of‑concepts that actually prove something, and translate between customer wishes and our product roadmap.

Tools you'll need: 5+ years pre‑sales network engineering, fluent in LTE/5G/IP stacks, comfortable sketching architectures, and enough Docker/API know‑how to make demos sing.

Work style: mostly remote from TX/AZ/CO, 30% travel to keep things real, and the ability to juggle sales urgency with engineering precision.

Upside: join the IoT revolution with a 30‑year player that's connecting everything from energy grids to city buses—real stuff that makes the world work better.
