M&A Sourcing GTM Engineer

Manna Stone Holdings Holding Companies
Remote Chicago, IL Posted about 1 month ago $85,000 - $105,000 yearly

TL;DR

Manna Stone in a nutshell: we buy software companies to keep forever, then make them better with AI. Now we need someone to build the machine that finds those companies.

Your main gig: craft a deal‑finding engine using AI tools—scrape data, enrich leads, automate outreach, score targets. Think sales automation stackbut for M&A hunting.

Double‑dip opportunity: first you'll build systems to spot acquisition targets; then you'll drop similar AI magic into companies we buy to juice their growth. Each deal becomes your new sandbox.

Who fits: a technical tinkerer who lives on Product Hunt, breathes Python/JavaScript, and treats manual work like a personal insult. M&A know‑how optional—we'll teach the business side.

Pay setup: $85‑105k base to start (part‑time possible), fat bonus tied to deals closed, chance to grow with each company we add. Perfect for someone who wants to build once, benefit many times.

Job Description

The Role
We're looking for a technical ninja obsessed with AI tools who wants to build the systems that power our M&A/acquisition sourcing engine—and over time, deploy those same capabilities within the companies we acquire. Depending on the candidate this role may be full time, or start out as part-time and evolve into a full time opportunity.
Your primary focus: Building the proprietary sourcing machine that identifies and tracks software acquisition targets at scale. You'll architect data pipelines, automated outreach systems, and enrichment workflows using the latest AI tools to create an unfair advantage in deal flow.
No M&A experience required. You'll learn the business side from experienced operators while doing what you do best: building technical systems that solve complex problems.
The compounding opportunity: As you master the sourcing systems and we close deals, you'll have the unique opportunity to deploy similar automation and AI tools within our portfolio companies—helping them scale their sales & marketing, optimize customer success, and enhance R&D efficiency. This is incredibly rare: you'll build systems that acquire companies, then build systems that make those companies more valuable. Each acquisition becomes a new canvas for your technical craft.About Manna Stone Holdings
