Braintrust watches how AI behaves in the wild—evals, observability, the whole picture. You'll be the plumber who connects Clay, Salesforce, and a dozen other tools so Sales and Marketing stop fumbling in the dark.
Your job: turn product signals into outbound campaigns, keep the CRM honest, test what actually converts, and automate the rest. Think of it as building the nervous system that lets GTM teams feel what's working.
Who fits: 5+ years wiring GTM systems at a fast SaaS shop; fluent in APIs, automation platforms, and the kind of thinking that turns messy data into clean workflows.
Daily rhythm: audit the stack, spot friction, design a test, ship an integration, measure what moved the needle, repeat. You'll partner with Sales and Marketing but own the technical backbone.
Why it matters: developer tools live or die on word-of-mouth and product-led growth. You're the one making sure every signal gets caught, every warm lead gets touched, and every experiment teaches something real.
About The Company
Braintrust is the AI observability platform. By connecting evals and observability in one workflow, Braintrust gives builders the visibility to understand how AI behaves in production and the tools to improve it.
Teams at Notion, Stripe, Zapier, Vercel, and Ramp use Braintrust to compare models, test prompts, and catch regressions — turning production data into better AI with every release.
What You’ll Be Doing
Engineer scalable GTM workflows: Build and maintain systems that leverage tools like Clay, Default, Unify, and Salesforce to uncover, qualify, and connect with high-potential customers. Operationalize PLG insights: Identify users and teams already engaging with our platform through analytics and enrichment tools, then design automated outreach to convert them into active customers. Create and test outbound strategies: Design enrichment logic, triggers, and messaging sequences to identify what drives engagement and conversions. Model and refine ICP/TAM: Define who our best customers are, map the total market, and continuously update based on conversion data and feedback loops. Integrate the GTM stack: Use APIs, automation platforms (Zapier/Make/n8n), or lightweight code to connect CRMs, enrichment tools, and outreach systems — reducing friction and manual effort. Own data integrity & GTM system governance: Ensure CRM and GTM tools maintain clean data, consistent data contracts, and a reliable “single source of truth” across Sales and Marketing. Evaluate emerging GTM tooling: Assess and implement new software, automation platforms, and AI-powered solutions that improve efficiency and unlock new GTM capabilities. Partner cross-functionally: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Growth and Product to align workflows, surface insights, and serve as the technical backbone for GTM execution. Document & enable: Create documentation, process maps, and training to help teams adopt new workflows, tools, and best practices. Prototype new GTM experiments: Launch rapid experiments across channels, data sources, messaging, and workflows to uncover scalable new tactics.
What You’ll Bring
5+ years in GTM Engineering, Revenue Operations, or a similar systems-driven go-to-market role. Experience at a fast-growing SaaS or developer-focused startup. Proficiency with GTM orchestration tools such as Clay, Default, Unify, Salesforce, or comparable platforms. Strong automation and integration chops (APIs, Make/Zapier/n8n, or custom scripts). Analytical mindset — you think in data, dashboards, and systems, not opinions. A bias toward action and a love for solving ambiguous problems with structured thinking.
