The Team & Role

Gem is looking for a senior individual contributor to own and evolve the GTM systems that power our go-to-market engine at scale.

This role sits at the intersection of Salesforce, Revenue Cloud, data architecture, and real-world GTM usability. You’ll design and build the workflows that connect our tools, streamline how we sell and renew, and help teams spend less time fighting systems and more time with customers.

We’re a multi-product company entering a new scale phase. The foundation exists — what’s needed now is thoughtful system design, simplification, and stewardship.

This is a hands-on builder role with real ownership, not a ticket-based admin role. Ownership here spans everything from system reliability and issue resolution to designing durable workflows that scale over time. You’ll partner closely with Revenue Operations leadership and have access to consulting support for specialized or heavy technical work.

What You’ll Do Day-to-Day

Designing usable GTM workflows (end-to-end)

Design clean, scalable workflows across the full commercial lifecycle: lead → opportunity → quote → renewal → expansion → multi-year renewal

6–10+ years in Salesforce / GTM systems / Revenue Operations systems rolesStrong hands-on experience with Salesforce Flows, validation rules, and declarative automationExperience configuring Revenue Cloud or CPQ in real GTM environmentsDeep understanding of pipeline, quoting, renewals, and expansionsProven ability to design systems with end-user usability in mindStrong GTM intuition — understands how Sales, CS, Finance, and self-service motions actually workAbility to make smart tradeoffs: build vs simplify vs outsourceComfortable operating as a senior IC and primary ownerClear, confident communicator across technical and non-technical partnersSalesforce Admin or Advanced Admin certification
