AI marketplace, ten‑x growth in a year, eight figures ARR—and they need someone to stop treating GTM like a sales job and start treating it like a code problem.
Your job: build the pipes. Lead scoring, routing logic, Clay workflows, scrappy scripts—whatever turns who should we callinto an autonomous system that learns and improves.
Day‑to‑day: test lead sources, design prioritization frameworks, build reporting dashboards, replace manual work with automation, and ship lightweight tools that scale without breaking.
Who fits: two‑plus years in GTM engineering, growth ops, or data science; fluent in Clay, n8n, Zapier; comfortable with messy data and systems thinking; can move fast solo.
Why it matters: you're not supporting sales—you're architecting it. Direct influence on where the whole company focuses, and you'll watch your systems compound as the business scales.

About the OpportunityI am partnering with a hypergrowth AI powered marketplace software to hire a GTM Engineer who will treat go to market as an engineering problem rather than a sales operations function.
This is a hands on role for someone who wants true ownership over how leads are discovered, prioritized, routed, and scaled using automation, experimentation, and AI powered workflows instead of manual processes.
You will not be supporting GTM.
You will be designing and driving it.
What the Company Is BuildingSince launching in 2023, the business has grown ten times year over year, reached eight figure annual recurring revenue in roughly one year, and raised $25 million from top tier investors and founders.
The team is approximately sixty people and operates primarily from San Francisco.
What You Will Do• Continuously identify and validate the highest quality lead sources, segments, and acquisition channels • Design systems that determine who to contact, when to contact them, and why • Build lead scoring and prioritization frameworks that focus sales on the highest intent opportunities • Translate insights into clear, executable inputs for sales such as lists, alerts, routing logic, and playbooks • Build reporting infrastructure that provides autonomous visibility into experiments and channel performance • Build lightweight tools, scripts, and automations to test GTM ideas quickly • Use Clay, LinkedIn, scraping utilities, APIs, and no code tools to enrich and prioritize leads and personalize outreach at scale • Replace manual GTM work with autonomous lead intelligence systems • Design and launch experimental website features to test, optimize, and scale marketing acquisition channels • Evolve scrappy internal GTM tooling into production grade systems that operate as autonomous lead channels
Who This Role Is ForThis role is ideal for someone with at least two years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
• GTM engineering • Growth operations • Data science applied to GTM • Investment banking with strong analytical and systems exposure
Required Experience• Hands on experience using low code AI workflow tools in a GTM context such as Clay, n8n, or Zapier • Ability to operate independently with minimal direction • A track record of systematically discovering, testing, and scaling GTM motions • Comfort working with messy data and turning it into actionable systems
Nice to Have• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related STEM field • Experience in a similar role at a midsize startup • Strong SQL, Python, or scripting skills • Experience treating GTM as an experimentation and systems discipline rather than a static funnel
Why Candidates Are Excited About This Role• You directly influence where sales and marketing invest their time and resources • You build GTM systems rather than maintaining reports • The company has reached eight figure revenue extremely quickly with strong momentum • You will work closely with high caliber customers already building with the platform • The role blends engineering, growth, and strategy in a way very few positions do • Competitive compensation for early career GTM engineers • In office environment in San Francisco with a fast moving, high ownership team
